I was cutting back my twitter usage before the Apartheid Emeralds Guy struck this deal. I don't intend to hang around while it becomes Parler 2.0.
I'll be deleting my account sometime soonish, let's say June 1?
Let me know (via twitter DM or email) if you want to stay in touch.
@Miss_Jess03 I don't know how I'd react to an AP transcript. It might be more illustrative than a play example *designed* to be didactic, but it could easily be a slog, and too disorganised to reference later as a quick refresher.
I guess it could be relegated to a PDF-only appendix?
@Miss_Jess03 (I don't know if by "one big sample section" you meant that, or something less organised like a (edited) transcript of an actual session)
Whitehack's approach is OK, but I prefer Fate Core's brief play examples immediately following the rules they mean to illustrate.
@trinitykstudio Some photos of books from DTRPG.
The uneven black background in the left is intentional, but the noise around the handwriting is not.
Top right has crisp line art but the non-OCRed text is fuzzy.
Hex map is hard to read, particularly hexes with blue icons on green background.
@trinitykstudio Relatedly, that's one huge advantage PoD has for kickstarters that people don't mention enough -- it lets international backers "combine shipping" with other PoD kickstarters.
(unless one project's coupon expires before the other one is ready? I don't know if coupons can expire)
@viiith_nerve See also: passionately defending Pell as a modern 'martyr' & claiming that tbe presumption of innocence is being eroded, then calling the allegations against him "false".
He was acquitted on appealβit doesn't follow that his accusers *lied* or otherwise gave false statements.
@Ettin64 correction: *some* Tile Mate models also have user-replaceable coin cell batteries.
In any case, the other Tiles also have a coin cell battery inside, it's just soldered to the board. Relatively easy to pop them open with a spudger and solder in a new one.
@Ettin64 I don't know whether you intend to pair the bluetooth trackers to *your* phone or to *his*.
If the latter, Tiles have two-way tracking (unlike AirTags). If he loses his phone but not his keys, the Tile has a button to make the phone play a noise.
My favourite piece of OGL trivia:
While Pathfinder rulebooks, adventures, and other game material use the word "tiefling" (which is in the 3.5e SRD, and thus Open Game Content), their tie-in novels, comic books etc. call them "hellspawn" instead.
IANAL, so I can't say which bit of the OGL 1.0a forbids people from using Open Game Content for non-game media.
Not even sure whether Pathfinder spinoff games (videogames, card games) use/avoid "tiefling".
Maybe it's not clear-cut, and Paizo just didn't want to take the risk.
@spinningdice @gingerjumper@samsleney Thank you. I am baffled by the number of people who thinks that this will affect things like a livestreamed D&D game, or a beholder plushie crochet pattern on Etsy.
The OGL has nothing to do with those.
as for my own RPG projects, I'm tinkering away on a couple of new things, and returning to some others.
I (now) know better than to announce anything before it's ready, but even if I stall, I'll try and put what I've written on my blog rather than show it to no-one.
Hi everyone, I'm still alive. Felt pretty burnt out by ttrpg stuff, and uninterested in using twitter as a platform.
Like many others, I have an account on the forbidden elephantine federated network. You can find me on glaucus at home dot social
anyway if this interests you, it's probably best to email me rather than DM me on twitter.

hopefully that's sufficient obfuscation for spambots. Decode the above via https://t.co/YJJh3X26Cp
