yup basically 😅 the complicated part is that it became (allegedly) political due to those original angry fans bringing up things to get the company in trouble, and, as a chinese game under the chinese government, politically-charged topics become very sensitive

wolfie was collateral damage, really, as it appears the company took drastic action in an attempt to soothe big giant issue—one may argue that drastic action did not work 😗 or mayhap it did, bc we’re not sure what’s happening on the inside now, and are hoping for further updates

@FeristalJ it's a lot of things in one - vn, gacha collection, combat (collect cards and currency to strengthen your team), house sim (a very limited one tho'), photo creator, etc.

it's cute boys in cute settings who also do combat things in combat settings 🥳 best of both worlds!

i should note that 'fans mad' is carrying a load there lol, it was an extremely vocal group of local fans, with complaints ranging from absolutely logical to absolutely ridiculous, but all getting louder and angrier and increasingly mob-like and it turned into a MUCH larger issue

tl;dr a newly-introduced character was about to have a debut in the game, poor decisions made by company compile into a dumpster fire, fans mad, company panic, rescind new character, now everybody mad
