Favourite, Amuneke's goals in the final against Zambia... we all ran into the street jubilating.
@Adaeze_michael FIFA primarily bases player eligibility on its ownย sporting regulations, which allow dual nationality, rather than individual countries' domestic laws.

@Adaeze_michael Delap will come Good. Not VO9 levels, but better than we expect.
Those City EDS boys from that generation had something special. Like the Chelsea crop with Mount/Gallagher/Reece/Trev and Rice (U16s).
I believe in them.
@Adaeze_michael Maresca is protecting his players.
However, 28 is young for a GK. He "can" come into his own if he digs in and works hard. Otherwise, Jorgensen is 22 and Penders is a teenager.
That said, am certain Maignan will be signed before the new season, unless a sanchez masterclass.
Some thoughts about Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ:
There cannot be excellent leadership until we have excellent Nigerians in reasonable numbers.
Leadership recruitment is still a game of chance in Nigeria.
So the odds are largely in favour of incompetent people with compromised integrity to assume leadership positions both inside and outside government because they are in absolute majority.
I think the fundamental problem in need of urgent solutions is how to grow the population of competent Nigerians with integrity.
Unfortunately, everyone wants to be Governor, Senator, President, etc without sparing a thought about how he or she will get competent Nigerians with impeccable character to work with.
No surprise therefore that we often take one step forward and more than one step backwards.
Leaders don't fall from heaven, and they cannot be spiritually fabricated.
I talk alot about JAPA, not as a solution but as an immediate answer.
Selah!
