‘Apartment Story'

Have you ever thought of weaving paint?

If you look closely, you'll see all the characters are reading books. Stories within stories woven within streets - that was the idea. Oh, and the title is also a song by The Nationals. You know I love music & word play.

Yup, that was my first reaction too. It gets weirder though...
When Richard Gasperotti told me he would ride down 3 active volcanoes, I was shook. But here it is, an artwork made entirely with volcanic ash and rocks collected by Gaspi

‘Left Hand Free’

At first this canvas was just used to put all the leftover materials from other projects. One of those projects had volcanic ash in the mix which gives the pigmented gel a rough texture.

It ended up looking like a road begging for a car to feature.
Since the biggest piece in this collection might not feature a Porsche, I decided that the smallest one should.

'Left Hand Free'

Nothing described this artwork better than the classic Alt-J song. The song isn't about a car, but the feeling you get is like being on the road somewhere in LA, taking your girl for a ride.
