The Scripture says, “Never avenge yourself, but leave the matter in the hands of God.” God knows how to vindicate you. You don’t have to force these things to happen, prove to people, get even, change their mind. No, stay in peace. Keep doing the right thing.
Well, like clockwork, I’m up at 3:00 AM again. 😄 I guess my body has decided this is the new normal. No complaints though — there’s something peaceful about being awake while the house is quiet and the world is still sleeping. It gives me a chance to slow down, shake the cobwebs out, and start the day with the right focus.
In a few minutes I’ll be settling in for my Bible study and spending some time in Scripture. Those quiet moments with God have become one of the most important parts of my day. I’ve learned that when I start the morning in His Word, it changes the way I handle everything that comes afterward.
After I finish reading, I’m planning to do a little deeper research into today’s passages — looking at the background, context, and what the verses were meant to communicate. I really enjoy digging beneath the surface and understanding not just what the Bible says, but why it says it and how it applies to everyday life. The more I study, the more I realize there is always something new to learn.
One verse that keeps coming to mind this morning is:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
I love that picture. God’s Word may not always show us the entire road ahead, but it gives enough light for the next step. And honestly, that’s often exactly what I need.
Feeling thankful this morning for another day, another opportunity to grow in faith, and another chance to spend time with the Lord before the busyness of the day begins.
Praying everyone has a blessed day ahead. May God’s Word bring you wisdom, peace, strength, and direction for whatever you’re facing today. 🙏📖
Lord, give me the wisdom to respond with grace instead of reacting in anger. Guard my heart, control my words, and help me reflect Christ even when others try to provoke me. Give me peace that cannot be shaken and strength to overcome evil with good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
People don’t hate you because you failed.
They hate you because you survived what they thought would break you.
They lied about you.
They mocked you.
They watched you struggle without lifting a finger.
Then they get angry because you’re still standing.
Here’s the lesson most people learn too late.
Not everyone deserves another chance.
Not every apology deserves your trust.
Not every relationship deserves your energy.
The strongest move isn’t revenge.
It’s refusing to let people who repeatedly disrespected you keep renting space in your life.
Protect your peace.
Protect your time.
Protect your name.
The people meant for your life won’t demand that you sacrifice your self respect just to keep them comfortable.
Sometimes the most powerful response is no response at all.
1 Peter 5:8–9
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith…”
The enemy would love for us to get stuck: stuck in fear, stuck in anxiety, stuck letting negative images play. Those images may come, but you have to cast down the wrong imaginations. Don’t let them keep playing. When fear comes, switch over to faith.
Good Saturday morning! ☀️
Looking forward to a simple day today—just hanging out by the pool with my daughter, making memories and enjoying the time together. Days like these remind me how blessed I really am. Sometimes it’s the little moments that end up meaning the most.
I’m thankful God gives us opportunities to slow down, laugh, and enjoy the people He has placed in our lives. Praying everyone has a safe, relaxing Saturday and finds something to smile about today.
Hope y’all have a blessed weekend! 🙏💙
Some days God calms the storm. Other days He calms His child in the middle of it. Either way, His presence never leaves us.
Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep walking by faith, even when you can’t see the whole path.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1
