🕊️ @PM_ViktorOrban has received an invitation from U.S. President @realDonaldTrump to join the Gaza Peace Council, announced @FM_Szijjarto. He called the invitation an honor and confirmed Hungary will participate, noting the prime minister has already instructed him to convey this to the U.S. administration.

🕊️ Minister Szijjártó praised President Trump’s global peace efforts, stating he “represents hope in the Gaza peace process.” He emphasized Hungary’s deep interest in stability in the Middle East, as the region’s security has a direct impact on Central Europe’s own safety.

🛑 He reiterated Hungary’s firm “no” to Ukraine’s EU membership, calling the idea of a two-speed accession “a nonsense trick.” He criticized Brussels for trying to manipulate the Hungarian election, warning EU ambassadors not to interfere. “If they undermine our democratic process, they won’t get meetings above department head level—this I guarantee,” he said.

23 Gaza-based Stipendium Hungaricum students cannot travel due to the war, despite full admission. Other countries enabled student exits. We ask for your support to protect our right to education.
