I connected my lawyer to a client.
The client paid well.

Mbavu The Destroyer seeks legal redress at Sports Disputes Tribunal against Majembe and Obinna where he alleges that the officials erred in finding that Majembe had won. Anataka the Tribunal to declare him the winner or in the alternative apewe rematch. This law I tell you!😂
Don't just raise a PO because an Arbitration Clause exists, prove it, show the dispute is worthy of resolution. Where a debt appears undisputed, the court will not refer the matter to arbitration, since arbitration is only for actual disputes, not clear uncontested claims.
Congratulations to the Ladies and Gentlemen who have been nominated to the position of Judge of the High Court of Kenya. Each of you have demonstrated immense competence and requisite temperament to hold this high office.
I am especially proud of my friend and partner, @OrinaEsq for this achievement. It has been a long time coming and this milestone is highly deserved.
May the Constitution serve as your compass, integrity be your anchor, and service to the people drive all of you as you undertake this new task.
A clip has emerged allegedly capturing businessman Tom Awili urging former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju to seek intervention from President William Ruto to safeguard his property.
In the recording, Awili is heard advising Tuju to “speak to the President” if he wants his troubles resolved.
Awili is among four suspects previously arrested in an Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) raid alongside former judge Joseph Mutava and lawyer Kimani Wachira. In the same clip, he allegedly refers to Wachira as “the lawyers’ president” and suggests that engaging those in power could make Tuju’s problems disappear.
If anyone ever told you that Kenya is not a special country, tell them that they don't know what they are talking about.
Kenya stands out - unique, and special.
If you think am kidding, tell me this:
In what other country on God's green earth can corrupt politicians overcome the laws of nature and biology, purely out of determination to steal?
In Kenya, a woman can have 10,860 babies in a year, through a normal birth. I mean 10,860 normal births in a year.
For which our very lovely @MOH_Kenya pays out KSH 41 million!
And, another one can have 656 babies in a year, THROUGH C-SECTION no less1
For which the hardworking people at the @MOH_Kenya pays KSH 5.7 million.
And another patient can pull off being admitted to different hospitals across the country, ALL AT THE SAME TIME, receiving 2,808 procedures, for which our diligent @MOH_Kenya pays KSH 51 million.
As is that is not enough:
A "service provider" can send a bill of KSH 247 million to the Ministry of Health, and literally hit the jackpot. The ministry is to randomly double the invoice.
You ask for KSH 247 million, they send that, and another KSH 247 million!
Nchi ni ya maajabu hii.
What's more interesting is that the entire country's government apparatus knows that this is how our country works.
And therefore, they do not allow things like this to disturb them.

A Kenyan-born nurse based in the U.S has pleaded guilty in connection with a 12 Billion shillings home health care fraud scheme. Winnie Waruru was charged alongside her co-accused Faith Newton of swindling Massachusetts State of 100 million USD through making false claims and billings to a programme that provides health coverage for low income earners. According to details of the case, the two allegedly billed MassHealth and Medicare, for fraudulent home health services and paid kickbacks to induce patient referrals some of which were unnecessary. And as Serfine Achieng reports, the US government has also filed a civil action seeking forfeiture of five properties and 40 financial accounts and investments funded by proceeds of the multi-billion shillings fraud scheme
