Thanks to a grant from Learning for a Sustainable Future we planted a community garden at our host school @rad_RETSD. Our grade 1/2 class and Radisson’s grade 4/5 class worked together to weed, prep, and plant. Can’t wait to harvest those veggies & herbs in autumn! #RETSDSchools

Food Drive Update, our amazing "Radview" (@rad_RETSD ) leadership teams took the food our schools collected down to the Transcona Food Bank this morning.
Amazing generosity from all of our Westview and Radisson students. Together we built 4 hampers and filled 4 tables of food for the Transcona Food Bank. GO RAVENS and GO WHALEs!! #RETSDschools
Westview's grade 1 and 2 students participated in an animal tracks scavenger hunt in science class today. On Friday, these students and their teachers will go to Birds Hill Park to feed the chickadees and learn more about their habitat. #science, #learningoutside,#retsd
Tis the Season for Giving: Westview and Radisson's grade 5 leadership students are teaming up to collect food for Christmas hampers and our local food bank.#retsd,#kindness

Grade 1/2s are practicing kindness. When the students do something kind they get an ornament to write their act of kindness on and “hang” it on the tree. #RETSDSchools#Kindness
Guess My Number: A great game you can play with your K-5 students. They love trying to guess your number. Make the game even more educational by having them ask you questions about the number, is it even, is it smaller than 50. How few questions will it take to guess right.
