Choir singers report stronger feelings of togetherness and less loneliness than many other group activities. Your heart rates sync, your brains light up, and friendships form over shared notes!
Music is the ultimate team sport. Who’s grateful for their choir family today?

Singing in a choir gives you the same endorphin rush as eating chocolate 🍫… but zero calories!

Best workout for your lungs, heart, and soul.

Who else joined choir for the music and stayed for the free happiness boost?

The weirder the warm-up, the more we laugh.
Singing like a siren? Mooing like cows? Tongue twisters at full volume? All normal.
🤪
Non-choir people would think we’ve lost it… but it works!
What’s the strangest warm-up Westernaires do? Spill the beans 👇

Choir trivia: Most choirs use the SATB lineup — Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass. But early choral music was all unison until medieval composers got fancy with polyphony (multiple melodies at once)!

Which voice part do you sing? Give a shoutout to your section!

Singing in a choir isn’t just fun — it’s basically a superpower! Studies show it reduces stress, boosts mood, sharpens the brain, and can even help with depression.

One more reason to love rehearsal. What’s your favorite “choir therapy” moment?

[Westernaires Chorus @westernaires_c]

Mind-blowing choir trivia: The largest choir ever? 121,440 singers in India (2011)! And the oldest average choir age? 91 years young in a UK care home.
Age is just a number when you’re making music! What's the best part of singing in Westernaires? #GuinnessWorldRecords
