In Comoé NP, Côte d'Ivoire #chimpanzees mostly use forests. The previous study noted that there probably isn't a population of the #chimp east of Comoé River in SW #Park, but our #cameratrap proved that there is indeed a population SE of Comoé River, along Iringou River. #ape

This past week, our Guinean WCAP representatives hosted a successful 2-day workshop in Conakry introducing the action plan to the broader stakeholder community in Guinea.

In October, the @westernchimp Action Plan was announced to the public in #Monrovia, #Liberia. To announce the publication, stakeholders were invited to participate in a meeting to learn about the regional plan for saving this critically endangered species. A 🧵...
