@B_P_M140i@UberWestHam Well he does think twice about us. You could see he was annoyed after he found out we was relegated, even annoyed after Arsenal beat us. Or one of the few players to put a post/story up about West Ham’s relegation. That’s thinking twice in my eyes
@B_P_M140i@UberWestHam Mate that is stupid.
I can’t change all fans opinions on hating Rice but to be annoyed at him for that is absolutely mental.
I still can’t quite believe what you’ve said😂😂
@B_P_M140i@UberWestHam No professional footballer would ever tell a ref that they have given away a pen🤣
Some of this fan base is crazy stupid, especially when it comes to hating Rice
Declan Rice loves West Ham and has shown nothing but respect to us always.
We couldn’t match his ambitions, but he left respectfully for a very large fee and always gave his all.
He never refused to train, gave his all right until the end and probably stayed a good 2 more years than he could have.
Got stick last week for saying we’re happy to see him succeed. You can hate Arsenal but also feel proud of him deep down, for some odd reason a lot of people can’t separate the two.
All I’ve see is people say his reaction to us being relegated is performative. He spent 10 years at the club, and let’s be honest, deep down would have stayed if we could’ve went to the next level with him. He loves this football club, there’s zero need for him to perform for the cameras.
And so it comes to pass that we are finally put out of our misery, on the last game of season, and perhaps worst of all, at the expense of Tottenham staying up.
Yes, it hurts. It's probably the worst feeling you can experience as a football fan. Some of us have been through it and out the other end, and for some of us this is the first time.
If there is one huge positive to come out of this utterly dreadful season, then without question, it is us, the fans. We have come a very, very long way since a small group of us got together in 2022. This year in particular, we have exploded into action, and none of it would have been possible without the commitment given and the belief shown by so many people in this group. Truly, thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to where we are.
We have brought friendships together.
We have shown some much needed community spirit.
We have created the pre-match concourse (which was absolutely insane today by the way).
We have self organised our fan-made flags, adding some character and visual atmosphere to the stadium.
We have funded and organised a tifo tribute to Ludo, one of our greatest West Ham heroes of all time.
We have trialled vocal sections in the ground.
And we won't be stopping here. In fact, we're just getting started.
As well as the positives of having no VAR, no tourists, less commerialism, winning more (hopefully), and a whole year without having to listen to Gary Neville, a season in the championship gives this group a huge opportunity to organise ourselves properly and become a permanent fixture in a stadium that so badly needs something.
Once the dust has settled, we will turn our attention towards planning for next season. We encourage anyone who wants to be surrounded by likeminded vocal fans to relocate to 142 - 147.
Again, thank you everyone for believing in the IWA project. Enjoy your summers, and the further World cup disappointment with England..
We build from the bottom, and rise to the top. ⚒️
As we reflect on Sunday, mixed emotions. Great fight to pull two back late, but unfortunately just not enough in the end.
Before kick-off though, the IWA concourse was different class. Big credit to everyone who got down early and played their part.
Our trial of fan-led honesty flags in the stands generally went down well. We are hoping to build our collection of flags up for future games.
You can feel something growing now… Whatever division we’re in next year, we carry this forward. No looking back.
IRONS ⚒️
Tomorrow, IWA will be laying out 25 fan funded, designed and organised large flags in blocks 145 to 147, for people to wave freely in the build up to the game and during bubbles as the players come out.
We are steadily growing our army of flags, and this "honesty" flags trial agreed is a positive step forward. Should it go well, we'll aim to bring out lots, lots more for certain games. Someday soon, we hope to have a sea of claret and blue across the BML, and in time, the whole stadium.
Please note, for those who are lucky enough to have a flag at their seat, as a mark of respect, we kindly ask that you do not wave them during the wreath laying in tribute to the Leeds fans who sadly lost their lives in Istanbul.
As ever, we encourage everyone in the stadium to bring their old scarves and hold them up for bubbles. This idea has steadily grown, and we are seeing more of it. Let's keep building that up!
Make no mistake, this is a massive game. There's an element of excitement in the air we certainly haven't felt for quite a while.
Sold out very early. Cheap tickets. Many of the "old school" coming back for a game. And a day out at WEMBLEY is at stake. 20 long been years it's been since we last reached an FA cup semi final.. an entire generation just might get to experience it for the first time. If a few other things fall for us tomorrow, this game could be up there with *that* famous Seville night..
And we as a fanbase need to do everything we can to make sure that happens.
Let's get to our seats a little earlier to start some atmosphere in the build up. Let's push them on constantly throughout the game, giving them that extra few percent that could be needed to see them through in what will no doubt be a tight game.
We are ready. And we believe in the magic of the FA cup.
COYI! ⚒️
For those who are displaced by Leeds fans for the QF, we'd encourage everyone who wants to create atmosphere all game to get their seats in the Bobby Moore Lower between 145-148, and the Trevor Brooking lower 142 corner.
Rather than scatter the noisier fans about the stadium, instead we can transfer that atmosphere and combine it to make one large area. Spread the word!
COYI ⚒️
@danwoff98@Sparksy_ Most people having a strong weak foot tend to have it naturally. If not, then getting better at it as a kid is much more easier than for an adult.
20 or not, that guy don’t want to pass with his left.
@danwoff98@Sparksy_ I don’t think his weak foot will come after all those years training to be a professional footballer😂
But yes looks a talent. Hopefully pushes on.
I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England.
So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church.
I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care.
I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be.
If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church.
I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK.
I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no.
There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Ready for what’s to come.
Is this a good idea you would support?
