Post Covid it strangely feels great to be on overcrowded trains again. Two stark realisations though: 1. Good manners is a dying bread. 2. London Transport systems very infrequently work as advertised.
@bbclaurak everyone on this planet with an email account has sent an email in error, and I would venture a guess that the first reaction in most those cases was to ask the recipient to ignore and delete the erroneous message.
@WritesBright Sam, the only way to grow prosperity for all is to grow the GDP of the nation and remove waste in government so tax income gets put to work effectively for everyone and more so for those in most need. Increasing taxes seldom has a positive impact on GDP growth.
I just got my second covid jab. I continue to be blown away by how efficient the #NHS is with this huge effort, and how friendly all the staff and helpers are. Only disappointment is that they didn’t issue any capes on exit, because I feel like a superhero now ;-)

@Storagezilla ...good point Mark, and I agree fully with the scenario you put forward. There is however a valid reason to buy back stock...if you are cash-rich and have a high growth business which you feel the market is undervaluing; then you buy low to sell high
