@JeremyBranham I think Sánchez has been more of an in theory power hitter over in game power. Over 2,000 plate appearances and only 73 home runs. I’m not sure Loperfido is it either, but better defender and you get a veteran catcher who’s got a plus arm. Win in my book.
@JeremyBranham So you’re good with going into the season with Salazar at backup catcher? I agree I think it’s a precursor to another move, but overlooking backup catcher would be a mistake, with how poor Yainer is defensively and how swing happy he can get.
I can't wait to fill out my NCAA Tournament bracket in 30 seconds and then spend the next three weeks mentally abusing myself for every pick I get wrong.
@JeremyBranham I think he just doesn’t want to be a gimmick dunk guy only. If he’s on an NBA roster, I guarantee he does it. Although the 100k bonus for winning should be a good reason to go.
