Mona has found a new recipe that may or may not include the usage of a certain flock of birds found outside of Mondstat's city walls.
Now for the guinea pig that will test it for her....
A contempt astrologist will use their gifts for fame and gain, only those truly enlightened can be content with knowledge.
But then again, honey roast......
As a prodigious child naturally should, Mona always keeps herself in tip-top shape. Some of her routine exercises include;
Jogging (Chasing birds for breakfast).
Lifting weights ( dragging tree branches for campfire).
Socializing (Working part-time jobs at Wanmin restaurant).
Mona was practically drooling at the smell and glisten of the meat. She hasn't eaten a proper week in what seemed like weeks.
"Mondstat sure is a blessed country to have you looking after it so well Jean, humu. May the stars above always shine upon your path."
Jean would bring back a big honey roast and some simple Apple Juice for the both of them.
"Here, I hope this will be enough for your whole day."
She didn't mind helping others out, Jean just wanted to protected them all.
"ughhh...You're a smug bastard, aren't you?
But I am a prodigy child protected by the stars, I can easily foil anything you have brewing.
Lets call this a business dinner, yes. quite so!"
Mona was delighted, she was going to get a free dinn-- Precious Sneznhayan information.
"ugh...if that old hag were to see me accepting chari-- gifts from the acting grandmaster like this, she'd have me hung from the highest mountain...."
Mona laid down her hat in respect to the meal they were about to have, thanking the stars that Jean was kind enough to be there.
Jean would use her other hand to wipe away the tears from Mona's eyes.
"Don't feel sad for being hungry, whenever you have the urge to eat just visit my office."
She'd slowly sat her down at a table before ordering some food for both of them.
"Before anything else, mint peppered slime stew is both delicious AND filling, hmph!
Anywho, either of those options would hold an ulterior motive, no?
Spill it. What is it that you want? Information? blackmail? O-or could it be you're after my prodigious heavenly body?!"
"sniff sniff....if you so insist, i don't see it going badly in my future to share a meal with you, just this once okay!"
Mona bashfully accepted the invitation, tears in her eyes and wobbly on her feet. She has never felt so defeated before."
Jean would have a small awkward smile on her face and walked over to Mona placing a hand on her back and walking her into the town.
"I can't have people starving to death underneath my protection."
"uguguuuu that nosy disciple better watch what that big mouth of theirs spills...
ahem ahem! I appreciate the invitation dear Jean, but the wisdom and marvel of the universe fill my hunger for the unknown--"
Grooooooowwwwllllll.
The astrologist was speechless and stunned.
"Are you sure? I'll be pretty busy and from what I heard from the Honorary Knight...you could use the food."
Jean replied crossing her arms as she doubted that Mona had something to do currently.
"First of all, eavesdropping is incredibly rude. However, even without the stars guidance i can tell that you Fatui are keen of such behavior.
Secondly, i see nothing in my future but bad things if i were to entertain the likes of you harbinger."
The astrologist scoffed.
"ah Jean!
Ahem, i already knew you were coming here. The stars foretold it so after all.
But ah, m-maybe some other time. I have some stargazing planned later."
The astrologist twirled her hair in a fidgety fashion, knowing full well she only has 1 more on her.
"The stars show the way, and the path is lit by moonlight. One is always guided by fate to their destination.
ahh, today it seems I'll be eating slime stew and mints again...."
