The will to survive, the strength to endure and the courage to face the truth. We always have a choice to resolve conflicts peacefully,War is never the answer!
The genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda was neither an accident nor unavoidable.
As we remember the bloodshed 28 years ago, we must recognize that we always have a choice:
To choose humanity over hatred; compassion over cruelty; courage over complacency.

We need radical Gender education in Nigeria. The notion that the rise of another is a the downfall of the other is erroneous. The @HouseNGR has told Nigerian women that we are not equal Citizens by voting NO to women conferring citizenship to their foreign Husbands.
For the women that have gone before me, for my mother, my sisters, friends...For the next generation, for Nigeria, I will be joining this protest at the National Assembly. If you are in Abuja please join us! #BreakTheConstitutionBias#NigerianWomenOccupyNASS
Today @unwomen@UN_Nigeria@UNFPANigeria @MercyCorps_NG @ngBritish joined @fmwa_ng for the National press briefing to earmark activities for International Women’s Month & launched the “National Communication Strategy for Ending all forms of GBV against Women & Girls in Nigeria”.
We need to keep our forest safe. Forests help maintain Earth’s carbon balance and thus help us lessen the impacts of climate change.

Today, I watched Lawmakers in the House of Reps shout NOO to all the gender proposals for constitutional amendment! As simple as the proposal for Nigerian women to confer citizenship to their foreign husbands just like their male counterparts, Failed! Why this hostility to women?
I Chikas Kumle do publicly re-affirm my resolve to remain in Politics fr as long as democracy is practiced in Nigeria to ensure that we have a country that works fr everyone & also recruite more determined Nigerians to contribute to national dev.Nigeria will work in our lifetime
Women in Nigeria demand equal indigeneship & more appointive positions. Sad that the @HouseNGR voted against women today on the issues of indigeneship & specific seats for women. We call for another constitutional amendment
