First it the colonisation begun on July 1830 not 1832. Secondly it was the second war not the first. The first one started from 1830 to 1857, 27 years during which 3 millions at least have been massacred plus 1.1 million at least between 1857 and 1954, date of war declaration! The total death for Algerians is 5.6 and its low assumption! These figures don’t include Algerians killed by 57 nuclear tests done by France in Algerian Sahara! What France has done in Algeria was the worst form of colonialism to date! Nothing was spared:
- concentration camps,
- gaz mass killing,
- + 12000 villages and towns destroyed or burnt by napalm with Algerians in it,
- + 2 millions of women raped,
- Algerian gold, ressources and art stolen,
- our own records pre colonial period stolen which allowed France since 62 years until now to declare that they’ve created Algeria despite our most important kingdom with the same frontiers dated from 202 before JC!,
- they tried to exterminate us and bring there more than 1 million settler and almost half million soldiers.
We hadn’t military planes, tanks and even not enough guns but we’ve won because we were determined to kick them out no matter the cost! The generation that fought sacrifice itself for the following one! Palestine will be free as we we become, inchallah!
