your frustration is valid.
Blocked footpaths, inconvenience, disorder — we hear you.
But look closer.
These are not outsiders exploiting the system.
They are families trying to survive inflation and unemployment.
This is NOT “hawkers vs residents”.

“This is not a protest.
This is a mother asking to feed her child.”

Today, fruit and vegetable vendors from our area came to me.
Not to fight.
Not to shout.
But......

As part of WEY Foundation’s 18-week beach action drive, young people chose responsibility over apathy and action over excuses.
