First year HC Tristan Gegg and this Pittsburg team will play in their substate championship tomorrow night against Shawnee Heights. Former Pittsburg State basketball player and 1st year head coach Tristan Gegg and this team has massively improved from last year. The Purple Dragons have talent, leadership and chemistry and they look to stay hot and get a win tomorrow night.

Monday we didn’t have school because of the life celebration for a teacher/football coach at my school who suddenly passed away last week 💔 A copy of one of his index cards with his favorite thoughts/quotes was on the back of the program. After reading it & being at his service I decided to head to the gym—-I wanted to stay in my routine & do a light workout before volleyball games that night. Coach Roth was special and he is already missed. ✝️ #SMC
