I finally gave my talk @ Code with Claude and what an incredible week it’s been!
Met honestly the absolute best people along the way, learned a ton from other builders and members of technical staff at Anthropic!
A massive thank you once again to the Anthropic Community Team @nosajab@adocomplete Martine Nilsen Cassie Mayes and the company I work for @trustedshops for giving me time to come over here!
I’ll be writing a more detailed article of my takeaways from the event soon and can’t wait to share all my learnings with you all - so keep an eye out!
I’m beyond London maxxed
Can’t wait for the next one!
Munich, it’s time to have a Conversation about AI
Claude Communities around the world are taking on 1 big question about AI this month
Seemingly wherever I go I keep hearing a recurring question: Will AI take my job?
Next week we tackle this and other pressing questions about the state of AI and where we’re heading. And the "what can we do about it" part is real: two weeks later we're running a Claude Impact Lab — a full-day build where we make our own local answer to this question. Event page launching soon.
Happy to be hosting this along with Dr. Florian Steiner, M.B.R. Alexander Eiswirth Steffi Kieffer and the rest of the Claude Munich gang
This is a more intimate format and so spots will be much more limited than usual

Another day, another sold out Claude Community event!
Thanks so much to all the attendees, and our amazing speakers Alex Key Franz Bettag Alexander Eiswirth
And thank you to Elias Knörrer Lorenzo Steinert and the rest of the team at START Nuremberg this was one of the coolest venues and crowd we’ve ever had 😎
At this point it’s not even fair how popular our events have become in Nuremberg. We get hundreds of sign ups every single time. I can’t wait for the rest of Germany to get these too!
Next stop Munich for Claude Conversations
the whole thing is rigged mate. If you want to make actual money it basically comes down to luck and intuition of picking good buys and holding long term, paying attention to common yearly cycles (usually goes up during end of year and sell-offs happen beginning of year), dollar cost averaging etc.
@slobkebap in this case I got really lucky that the actual Mayor responded to me lol... but besides that make it a low-stakes deal for them for the first one:
- Internal only
- Only open source projects / public data
- Try to find someone on their end who is experienced at hosting hackathons to help organize everything
Recently @DrFloSteiner and I accomplished the near impossible: we successfully organized an internal Claude Code Hackathon with the Landeshauptstadt München IT-Referat München Digital (supported by @AnthropicAI)
It all started with a cold LinkedIn DM from me to the newly elected Mayor Dominik Krause who achieved a historical win in Munich earlier this year. Much to my surprise he replied to me pretty much immediately and put me in contact with his office :) thank you so much for this opportunity Dominik!
We had a blast this day, working with 30 of the City of Munich's talented employees on Open Source Projects for the City of Munich. In case you didn't know Munich has a policy of "Public Money, Public Code" and so most of their systems code is publicly available on GitHub for anybody to read or hack away on.
We setup everyone on their personal laptops with Claude API credits and 11 awesome projects were produced the next day, from a bike-route safety reporting platform to modernising the election polling-station system, with legacy Python 2.7 migrations, OCR pipelines, in-house image generation, and city data governance in between. (No real data used in any of these projects).
Thanks so much to Zaim Sari for helping us co-ordinate and run this epic event. We hope to do something more with you guys in the near future.
@asaio87 Focus everything on getting 1 paying customer. Then 2, then 4 etc.. if after 6 months you can’t get 1 paying customer you might be solving the wrong problem
I guess I’m finally part of the SF AI cool kids now that I’ve been to the famous Corgi Cafe 😅
Happy to see so many Claude spinners vibing the new Fable model and was surprised to see how many Claude Desktop users there are!
This is what travelling looks like when Claude Opus 4.8 can 1-shot you an entire interactive web app to help you plan your road trip in a country you've hardly been to before.
Started from a blank folder -> this in literally a couple of minutes. Might make a full harness out of this to build a consumer app out of it - why not haha :)
What a time to be alive!
