Condolences 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Nonthaburi tragedy claims an entire family. Three people, including an 8 year old girl, were found dead from charcoal fumes on a bed inside their home in Bang Bua Thong.
At around 10:30 AM on May 27, 2026, officers from Bang Bua Thong Police Station received reports of three deaths inside a townhouse in a housing estate on Tem Rak Pattana Soi 9, Bang Rak Pattana Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District.
Rescue workers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation and forensic doctors rushed to the scene.
The two story townhouse sat at the entrance of Soi 4. A red Nissan sedan with Bangkok plates was parked outside.
The front gate and front door were unlocked when police arrived with relatives and coworkers who had raised the alarm.
Initial investigation found the husband and wife had missed work for two days.
Concerned coworkers contacted relatives to check on them. When police entered the home they found the upstairs bedroom locked from inside.
After forcing the door open, they discovered all three bodies lying face up on the bed.
The deceased were identified as:
Mr. Naruebes Pimwattana, 31, an engineer with the Department of Public Works in Bangkok.
Ms. Pornwipa Panitanang, 32, a legal officer with Bang Phlap Municipality.
Their daughter, 8 year old Ploynarin Pimwattana.
An active charcoal stove was found at the foot of the bed, while cloth had been stuffed around the bedroom door to block outside air.
A coworker of the wife said she became worried after being unable to contact her friend for two days.
When she arrived, the house was unlocked but the upstairs bedroom door was sealed shut.
She waited downstairs and contacted village security before police arrived.
A neighbor said that around 11 PM on Sunday night he heard loud arguments and crying coming from the house.
He said the couple’s young daughter was also there. He had not seen the family for two days and suspected foul play.
According to him, the wife had previously confided to his girlfriend through chat messages that she wanted to divorce her husband. He was unsure whether jealousy was involved.
The neighbor said he had known the family for about two years and often saw the little girl riding her bicycle outside every day.
The night before the discovery he even shined a flashlight through the windows but saw no movement inside.
