That's where fans from the northern states are.

The Atlanta area is completely different, and half the people who went to those games are probably dead or close to it. Also, 1 reason they left was the owners financial problems in his real estate business.

@GenoveseRo24148 @NHLtoAtlanta As for the Thrashers, the new ownership group only wanted to commit to the hawks. True the thrashers didn't have great attendance, but they were run poorly from day 1. Today's expansion rules allows for new teams to be competitive quicker.
