@CordyTheSecond It got attention solely because of his connection to Google. So it's more like: when making a statement (bs or factual), the magnitude of the attention it receives is proportional to the importance of the entity the statement is made against.

@ejhchess @PaulLewis He did a similar thing with his (not) Ph.D. on linkedin, saying linkedin cannot distinguish completed from uncompleted. Very curious since on linkedin, the degree is an open-end field and it will take whatever you type in. Nothing stops you from writing 'Ph.D. candidate'.

@julestw9 I think he lacks understanding of basic anything - logic, ethics, to name a few. He used to describe himself as "someone courageous enough to stand for something" but now he's saying it's autism, not courage, that made him act that way. He lacks something else.

@julestw9 He doesn't have autism. I don't think anyone with autism would've spun a big5 psych trait like neuroticism as if it's a career growth crippling factor. He knew what he was doing. He's simply not eloquent and he sounds even more so bc he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I wonder whether autism and neuroticism are positively correlated but it's only a guess. Since he's such an eminently well-read student of biology, I thought I'd ask for his thoughts.
