No reason for cops to take the abuse and be put in significant danger by being hamstrung from the city's mayor and council. This is the reason why Atlanta PD lost a lot of good cops in 2020. They faced abuse, violence with no way to defend, and lawsuits.

What's worse is while people say...let citizens there get what they voted for and a taste of communism...what people don't realize is that NYC is now going to, more than likely, become a terrorist network haven. There will be no recovery of that city for at least the next decade, even if they put a hard-core republican as mayor in office in 4 years. The city is toast.
