@RewildScotland@scotgov@ScotRewilding I've been visiting a place in Scotland, which was a sporting estate for the past 18 years, pretty regularly now owned by the FLS, and the dramatic decline in wildlife has made me so sad and heartbroken. Just another moorland disappearing.
@RewildScotland@scotgov@ScotRewilding My observations. Walking around these places and seeing nothing. You don't need to be a scientist to see the lack of wildlife. It breaks my heart to see this happening all over Scotland. It feels like nobody cares anymore.
@RewildScotland@scotgov@ScotRewilding In my opinion, rewilding doesn't have an uplift in species. I have visited more and more so-called rewilding takeovers, and the wildlife seems to disappear.
@RewildScotland@scotgov@ScotRewilding So deer fencing hundreds of acres of moorland killing all the deer and hares in it and all the moorland birds and animals disappear. Sounds smashing! Really good, healthy ecosystem ππΌ.
@RewildScotland The general theme here is that you don't like gamekeepers and sporting Estates. Highland clearance all over again. These glen communities are slowly disappearing with job losses. Sad times ahead.
