Fatherhood is a proof of productivity, growth, love, sacrifice, passion, and responsibility. It is a lifelong commitment that goes beyond providing for a family; it is about nurturing, guiding, protecting, and leading with wisdom and integrity.
The celebration of fatherhood should not be limited to a particular day on the calendar. Rather, it should be a daily reminder to appreciate the sacrifices, dedication, and unwavering commitment of fathers who continually strive to build better homes and a better society.
Today, I join millions of responsible fathers around the world in celebrating the noble gift and calling of fatherhood. I pray that God continues to make us responsible, loving, and purposeful fathers. May He grant us the wisdom to lead, the strength to provide, the patience to nurture, and the grace to remain steadfast in our responsibilities toward our families.
May our homes be filled with peace, love, and unity, and may we continue to raise generations that will make the world a better place.
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and father figures. Your sacrifices, love, and dedication do not go unnoticed. May God bless and reward you abundantly.
> Thomas Tuchel on Arsenal's players set-piece threat:
"When you watch Arsenal closely, you realise their set-pieces are not luck, they're an art form. Every movement is rehearsed, every block is timed, every player knows exactly where the ball will arrive. What impresses me most is the commitment of the players. They treat a corner in the 5th minute with the same importance as a penalty in the 95th.
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and the other Arsenal boys bring that mentality into the England camp. They understand the details. They understand that trophies are often decided by moments, and set-pieces create those moments.
Modern football is about margins. Arsenal have turned those margins into a weapon. You can spend all week preparing for their open play, but if you switch off for one corner or one free-kick, they punish you. That's why they are so dangerous and why every coach in Europe studies them."

🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal’s hierarchy have reportedly set clear objectives for Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta ahead of next season.
The mandate is ambitious: retain the Premier League title and win the UEFA Champions League. 🏆🏆
Club executives are said to have made it clear that every transfer decision this summer should be geared towards achieving those goals, with a focus on strengthening a squad already competing at the highest level.
💰 Arsenal’s owners are reportedly prepared to provide the necessary backing in the transfer market, ensuring Arteta and Berta have the resources required to build a team capable of delivering sustained domestic and European success. ❤️🤍 #AFC
🚨🗣️ | Pep Guardiola Shocked on Arsenal fans Reaction towards Gabriel Magalhaes after missing the Penalty: 🤯
“I have to say something because I saw this and, honestly, it blew my mind. It blew my mind. We know how this business works. Usually, in a Champions League final, a player misses a crucial penalty against a top, top team like PSG, and the next day... it is a disaster for him. The social media, the media, it can be very, very cruel. Very ugly. You expect the anger, the threats, the terrible words. We see it all the time.
But what the Arsenal fans did for Gabriel? Wow. It is something else. Truly. To see a player fail in the most painful moment, and the response from the stadium, from the people, is just... pure love? I am told his shirt sales went up by three hundred and fifty percent in a few days. Three hundred and fifty percent! This is incredible. I have been in football a long, long time, as a player and a manager, and I have never seen anything like it. Never.
You know, you open Facebook, you open Instagram or Twitter, and the narrative is always the same. 'Arsenal fans are insufferable. They are the worst fanbase, they are annoying.' You hear this tag all the time. But I look at this gesture and I think, 'How?' How do they have this tag? If a fanbase can wrap their arms around a player like that, in the darkest moment of the club's history a trophy they have been dying to win for decades then everything we are told online is a lie. It is a massive misconception. They have been judged so harshly.
This shows me who they really are. It shows their class, their humanity, and their loyalty. To behave like this? It is not annoying, it is not insufferable. It is beautiful. They deserve incredible praise for this, because this is what football should be about”
PROF. ALI AHMAD CHARGES MUSLIM FAITHFULS ON THE LESSONS OF ARAFAT.
On the sacred occasion of Arafat Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful across Kwara State, Nigeria, and the entire global Muslim Ummah, especially our dear pilgrims currently observing the holy rites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Arafat Day remains one of the most significant days in the Islamic calendar. It is a day of deep spiritual reflection, sincere repentance, fervent supplication, sacrifice, humility, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah. The gathering of millions of Muslims on the plain of Arafat symbolizes unity, equality, peace, and the universal brotherhood of Islam.
As our pilgrims stand in devotion seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness, I urge them to remember Kwara State and Nigeria in their prayers. Our nation is presently confronted with numerous socio-economic and political challenges that require divine intervention, collective responsibility, sincere leadership, and renewed hope.
This sacred day should also serve as a reminder to all Muslims and leaders at every level to uphold the values of justice, compassion, tolerance, honesty, and selfless service to humanity, which are the core teachings of Islam and the enduring lessons of Arafat.
I pray that Almighty Allah accepts the Hajj of all pilgrims, grants answers to our prayers, restores peace and prosperity to our land, strengthens unity among Nigerians, and blesses Kwara State with continued progress and development.
May this season of sacrifice renew our faith, rekindle our hope, and inspire us all towards building a more just, peaceful, and prosperous society.
Thank You, My Leader.
It is time to get to work, as we are ready to move on with the Post-consensus process and return PDP to winning ways.
The journey starts now.
📣🎙️Roy Keane: "Declan Rice Deserves the PFA Award More Than Bruno Fernandes"
There’s not much to debate here for me - it’s quite obvious. Declan deserves it more.
Look at when Kevin De Bruyne won it - he backed it up with trophies. Ozil didn’t win the PFA despite his incredible performances. I’m trying to control myself, but the facts speak clearly.
What more do you want from Declan Rice? He has won multiple Player of the Match awards in the Champions League and the Premier League. Now he’s a Premier League champion and Arsenal’s Player of the Season.
He’s also going to play in the Champions League final, while Bruno will be watching from the television.
If Declan wins the Champions League, then for me he should be in the conversation for the Ballon d’Or. That’s the only way this makes sense.
The Premier League should do better with these awards.
