Vijay fans’ biggest victory is successfully portraying Ajith as Vijay’s biggest competitor instead of Suriya. 😂

Think about it. If Suriya had been presented as Vijay’s real competitor, Vijay would have to work much harder, choose better scripts and constantly improve his acting. The comparison itself would have forced him to raise his standards.

But the Ajith–Vijay rivalry is a comfortable competition. Both fanbases keep fighting about openings, collections, records and fan wars, while the actual quality of films and performances gets ignored. It also helped create a situation where people stopped expecting too much from Vijay. As long as he had Ajith as the “rival”, every average film could still be defended through the rivalry.

And the funny part is, this rivalry needs both of them. Without Vijay, Ajith is nothing “without Ajith, Vijay is nothing. 😂

Look at the difference when Suriya was actually competing with Vijay. Around the 2004 period, Vijay had to face a much stronger challenge from Suriya, and he struggled to stay ahead for years. It took until around 2013 for Vijay to establish his market . Until ajith gain his market.

Watched '𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝘀' last night

Always a fan of good feel movies and this one didn’t disappoint! It's a proper Telugu movie coded film, beautifully made in Tamil. You won’t even realise how quickly the time passes, a credit to the director’s engaging presentation. He packed all the right elements in this movie.

After Karuppan and now this, Suriya feels like he’s back to my school days era, when he used to deliver multiple blockbusters within a short span! He looks so fresh and lovable in this role. Mamitha Baiju deserves a special mention, She absolutely steals the show!

Don’t miss this wholesome family entertainer in theatres!

Funny how Rentrak becomes the most reliable source when other films are involved, but suddenly becomes irrelevant and disappeared when a Suriya film enters and tops.

But for Suriya? Nope. Rentrak doesn't count anymore. The tracker suddenly pulls out his own numbers and conveniently excludes the reliable source which was used by him for other films.
