This says a lot.... a very deep meaning!
He’s free, but his mind is still in a cage!
The bird is outside the cage, free, but it doesn’t fly!
I’m curious what everyone thinks.
What is this trying to say?
I have billions of dollars in my name, yet I have limited access to it because of bank policies. Sometimes I sit and imagine how I would spend it if it were completely in my possession. I live through those thoughts because I know how deeply I desire to have it all—to move through my world as usual, but with everything I could possibly want within my reach.
Yet, behind all of that, there is a little gift of mine that I have never needed money to buy: my heart.
And somehow, that makes me realize that I am constantly battling with my own thoughts.
One day, a young man in my neighborhood lamented that he wished he could end his life because he was wretched and had nothing. I listened, and somehow I returned to that thought that had been running through my mind.
I said to him, almost unknowingly:
“Even if you had everything you wanted, would you truly be satisfied?”
I don't know where that thought came from.
Maybe there is something about wanting everything that makes us forget to ask what “enough” really means.
I have only composed this little piece from my mind for now. Hopefully, there will be another time to finish it.
Hello sir, we haven’t spoken before, but I thought I’d take my chances and reach out. Hopefully, this message won’t need a campaign before it gets a response. 😂 Mr republican. Inbox me.
