a nonprofit client offers a variety of educational classes which are fulfilled by partner organizations. For example, every Tuesday night during the fall semester, a particular collection of classes will be available at a partner location. I know that I could copy/paste the event details into ~20 different class sessions and use a Date/Time field, but the client doesn't input class-specific details (e.g. reading material, homework, etc.) which means that I'd have many duplicate events if I wanted to make use of Date/Time and build some kind of calendar widget.

The workaround that I'm using now is to just use a pair of "single line of text" fields for "Day" and "Time" and then I just forgo any kind of calendar-like features.

It'd be nice if I could configure "every week, on Tuesday, from 6:00–8:00 PM, from August to December" or "the first Monday of every month"

been pleased using metaobjects as a sort of CMS in Shopify. would like to see some more features related to date and time, such as recurring (weekly/monthly) for things like classes/events so I could build a proper calendar without manually creating many duplicate events

Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days thou shalt labour, and shalt perform all thy work. But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God; on it thou shalt do no work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy servant nor thy maidservant, thine ox nor thine ass, nor any cattle of thine, nor the stranger that sojourns with thee. For in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and the sea and all things in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.

learned a neat way to configure multiple users on the same host in SSH config

Host host-nickname
HostName 123.456.789.012
IdentitiesOnly yes

Match originalhost host-nickname user firstUser
IdentityFile ~/path/to/ssh_first_key

Match originalhost host-nickname user secondUser

friend of mine has his pilot's license, told me once that he'll never fly a helicopter because "planes want to fly; helicopters want to fall". I think about that a lot
