Remembering that Mike was so lost at the beginning of s4, trying to imitate Eddie and then dressing in ‘shitty knockoffs’ to meet up with El, but he only found his style and himself again when he reunited with Will.
One thing I respect about Mike Wheeler is that he's an equal opportunity beef starter. He'll shade his parents, teachers, girlfriend, friends, friends' siblings. He will argue with ANYONE. He'll even piss off Will at times, he doesn't give a fuck. Even Argyle wasn't safe.
just remembered karen telling mike in season one “i want you to feel like you can talk to me” because. why did she say that. why did they queer code mike like that then do nothing with it
I wish there was a more nuanced discussion about Will’s ending. I have no issue with gay bars or him being at one because it was a form of community back then and one of the few safe havens for queer people. The problem is that the writers weren’t seeing it that way at all.
both bylers are so perfectly made for each other like will being an artist and mike being a writer then jonathan being a photographer while nancy is a reporter😭😭they were written in the stars
vampwise but mike is a young vampire and its really embarrassing when will asks "so how long have you been a vampire ;))?" and he's like "um. its been about a couple of years. three, to be exact." and will's shoulders kinda drop "oh. so you're like.... 29..." "... yeah"
