@Sarahlouisecl14 @Leicnut @Botanygeek We were always told they prefer non- lipid bags, and that you are best diluting the PN a bit as the amount of glucose can be a bit much for them.

@AzizAltamimi10 @drkeithsiau But you have to change the angle of the bed, not just sit the patient up more which isn't always made clear. The latter potentially worsens things as it increases intra-abdominal pressure. Any sort of wedge needs to go down to the hips, better to elevate the top end of the bed.

@CatchTheseWords I Have the other version of this which also has a dial to adjust volume e.g. Cup or proper mug, which is great and I presume you can bump dot it for guidance.

St James @LeedsHospitals used to have a small veg stall but only limited hours from what I can recall.

@MikeAnnable Water temps are definitely lower in some of my local pools, some of the youngest are struggling as well as some asthmatics.
I understand the cost savings but people will stop coming if it gets too cold.

@Leicnut Aside my milk allergy & IF it looks fine to me.
I'd probably not eat it at all in one sitting, Inability to digest food aside haha.

It would only be an issue for me if that food was cooked and not consumed.

Beans in a separate bowl: winner & Party rings are 1 of my safe foods!!

@AndrewJD I always offer, and have always been told no, I'm glad to be out of the ward/department for a few extra minutes. I also offer to hold doors etc... I consider these things part of being a decent human being, much like I'd offer someone who has one item of shopping to go ahead.

@Trisha_the_doc @Siggers1000 I think even if we provide FSM for all, some will still go hungry. Dental problems, not understanding how much they need to eat etc...it's more than just provision of food needed.

@tricyclemayor There's a community cycling place in Leeds with loads of adaptive bikes. May be worth making contact / taking a trip over there.
Also there are grants around if you know where to look. DM and I'll send you a good site for them and any others I know of.

(Although clearly a chair is more than just replacement legs).

@saltylungs The assumptions others particularly HCPs make about us is quite impressive.

I had to argue in pre op once that I was independent with mobility. She was adamant that I was dependent +1 because I used a chair. I said I'm independent with it though.
Oh but you're dependent....
