I'm looking for UK deaf and hard-of-hearing people or anyone with hearing loss whose 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 to fill in a short, 4 question survey on their access needs at UK live performances and arts & cultural events.

This is for a piece of work to raise awareness of captioning (both 'live' and scripted) at arts & cultural events in Scotland and to help organisations plan for captioned events. Don't need to live or attend events in Scotland to do survey!
It is anonymous but please only complete if you are happy for results to potentially appear in print.

I know surveys are annoying and we’re all tired but PLEASE complete this if you took part in the Fringe this year in any capacity, we need this data and perspective so much to keep representing and supporting the Fringe community.
We're already looking ahead to #edfringe 2025, and keen to hear from artists, workers, street performers and arts industry on how we can make it even better.

Huge admiration and respect for the artists, industry, venues and workers who’ve made this year’s Fringe so magical. It is such a privilege to have met loads of you this month. But there is #NoArtWithoutArtists and these are scary times indeed.
"Today it was announced that 2.6 million tickets were issued during the 2024 Fringe, however there is no doubt that the current environment for artists across the UK is of great concern; and the fragility of the performing arts community is palpable."
As Fringe 2024 ends today, Chief Executive of the Fringe Society, Shona McCarthy issued this open letter: https://t.co/lqXfaJR4QJ
