I think people in my life fall into 2 categories; those who are sick of hearing about how shit I feel and those who have no idea how shit I feel.
Thanks to all those who have followed and read these tweets. I have no idea who most of you are but Iβm feeling less alone today.
Oh my goodness #Elvanse where have you been all my life?! Itβs like putting on glasses for the first time. My head is so quiet. #inattentiveadhd#adhdtwitter
@samueljmargrave@RevThomasSander The problem is that a tweet is just a tweet. If someone comes across your tweet they will read it for what it is and the nuances and context that you claim make the tweet less offensive are not obvious to the reader. That individual tweet was horrendous and you canβt deny that.
@synod@churchofengland you need to make an example of this person. In my organisation heβd be in serious trouble (if not dismissed) for this online conduct. If heβs allowed to remain on synod after tweeting this then many will have serious concerns. Who will hold him to account?
@Claire_R123 @errant82 Similar to my son. Currently at school doing a-levels and has a part time job. The application and interview process was tough and I had to help/encourage him a lot, but now heβs started heβs thriving and really enjoying it.
I feel so lonely and sad that I physically ache. This is still marginally better than I felt on the tablets because at least I care that Iβm alive now but itβs still unbearably shit.
There are too many things crushing me that I think Iβm too broken to be repaired #NEISvoid
I used to have an amazing career that I love working with people and a fun active lifestyle with my friends and family. I have children and a husband who have watched the light go out in my eyes as I have to stop doing the things I love.
I hate depression so much. I hate that long covid has caused it.
As a neurodivergent person I have lived with anxiety and itβs part of my life. Overwhelming sadness and a lack of hope are new and utterly shit.
#NEISvoid thank you for being a community I can be open with even though Iβm fairly anonymous. Please can you all keep talking to me as the loneliness, physical and mental, is unbearable and youβve no idea how much your replies keep me going
@CounsellingSam It really does. I could probably do my job full time in a wheelchair but I canβt even stay awake for more than a few hours some days π
@CounsellingSam If I could choose one symptom to disappear from the Long Covid, POTS and asthma, it would definitely be the fatigue. Itβs horrific. My heart and breathing problems are debilitating but I can use a wheelchair or scooter to help. If the fatigue is bad then there is nothing I can do
People keep telling me how much better I look or even worse asking βso youβre recovered now?β What do I say? I think people are sick of the truth but I donβt want to say Iβm fine because people will have unrealistic expectations of me
