@CoachBeede This happened to my daughter but it did end up working out. The head coach had been there for 20+ years so her retirement was a surprise. While we are glad things worked out for her to have an athletic career, she would have gone to the university regardless.
@CoachBeede Get over your case of D1itis and realize that not everyone is going to make it to the D1 level. Be honest and know your skill level and target schools that you can get a good education and can be an everyday player.
@CoachBeede This was my daughter's path. On a whim she went to camp run by multiple Ivies and other high academic schools. This was not on our radar even though she was a great student. The camp got her noticed and she was contacted by several Ivies on Sept. 1. She still had to get accepted
@CoachBeede She had to put in the work the remainder of her high school career and sweat out being accepted. This opportunity has turned out to be a blessing for her. The lack of scholarships was a trade off for us. She still has to work hard to reap the benefits of the degree.
@AmericanAir I would have been happy to arrive in Philly at 11:30 as scheduled instead of what will be 6:30pm. We missed the whole reason we traveled. We flew Spirit a few weeks ago, delayed an hour. We received an apology email and a $30 future credit before we even took off.
@SenWarren I honestly don't know how you even look in the mirror. How about be honest and work to better the country instead of constant gaslighting...
@maziehirono I would accuse you of gaslighting except it's common knowledge you really are that stupid to not understand simple math and the basics of how the government works. The voters who continue to elect you are just as stupid...
