When Algorand sets the governance rewards rate at for example 8%, that’s like saying all algo-based DeFi is worse than worthless to use unless it gives rewards higher than that.

It’s like if the US government suddenly set interest rates to 8%. It wouldn’t be good for businesses

@nmadon65 @algorand_dev @AlgoFoundation That's interesting, but it's an analysis that looks at the world as it is now and not how it will be in 10 years' time. I suspect it'll be 20% of accounts holding 80% of the votes but who really knows. The systems we set up now need to be robust for the future.
