After scoring a hat trick against Sevilla, Raphinha was asked about his relationship with Lamine Yamal and the attention the teenager receives.

“Lamine is an incredible player and I have a lot of respect for him.

But sometimes I feel like people forget that football is not played by one player.

I scored three goals against Sevilla and suddenly everyone is talking about how Lamine assisted two of them.

That tells you everything.

If another player scores the goals, creates the chances and decides the game, why should the credit always go to the youngest player on the pitch?

Lamine has unbelievable talent. I have no doubt he will become one of the best players in the world.

But Barcelona cannot become a club where every good performance has to be turned into a story about Lamine Yamal.

There are players here who have been working for years to reach this level.

I don't need to compete with Lamine.

But I also don't think I should have to disappear from the conversation just because he is the bigger name right now.

If we are talking about who deserves credit for this team winning games, then everyone should be honest about what they actually see on the pitch.

Lamine is special.

But Barcelona is not Lamine FC.”
