You make one honest mistake at your job of 12+ years, and all of a sudden you're unemployed.. no benefit of the doubt or anything. I have a lot of pride in my work ethic, so this is hitting me pretty hard. So fucked up. Sorry if I'm distant to anyone/anything for a bit
"[Bo Nix] still has a lot to prove⦠I don't want him to be in the top 10 yet. I want him to fight for that."
HOF'er Champ Bailey on Bo Nix's ranking among NFL quarterbacks π
@BoNix10 | @champbailey | @heykayadams
We literally had a Peyton Hillis madden cover who wasn't even a Top-10 rusher that year. It's always been about popularity, not sure why people have such an issue with it. The Iceman edition looks cool as hell π€·ββοΈ
Is Caleb Williams not one of the weirder Madden cover athletes in a long time?
Usually itβs a guy who at least statistically was the best at his position last year, or at least top 5. Just seems out of left field
Seen this float around a lot as the "weak point". But it seems they've forgotten that the Rams turned into a 13 Personnel machine last year running almost always with multiple TEs on the field. So who really needs a WR3 when there's never one on the field anyway? π€
@smithunleashed I am curious about the Broncos defense vs the Rams offense. Great overall matchup.
Rams, IMO, seem to be short a pass catcher. Not a lot at WR after Puca and Devonte. Could be the Achilles heal the Broncos try to exploit
@Broncos4six@haqiyoo Well that's also because Jerry Jeudy is a very good receiver when given the consistent opportunity π
There were clear and immediate positions of need, but we instead took a guy for his versatility who has no path of seeing the field. Just a baffling decision. Depth over needs
@haqiyoo@Broncos4six If there's no plans for Barron to play, it should've been anybody but him. And that's coming from a longtime DB truther lol that's my favorite group
@haqiyoo@Broncos4six Not just a first round thing. I've just found that most fans really overrate Oregon players just because of the Nix connection. Which, I get.. People want familiarity and all that. Like, everyone wanted Tez Johnson too, because "he's Bo's brother"
@NickKendellMHH Where would you personally have him landing on the EDGE rankings? I think for me it's somewhere around the 10 range.
Obviously he's incredibly young and can still ascend. But I'm just talking currently as we speak

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.
