Leftover cheesy apple pie from the Pegula/Keys match yesterday. We love a celebratory pie tradition. Started off as a curiosity after her win against Madi at the AO. Let’s go Jessie. 🧀🥧📺

My favourite bit is the buttery crust complemented by the cheese. The cheese needs to be the perfect meltiness. Not dry and hard, but also not too melty, it needs to have a bit of bite to it. Would crush the remaining but I need to save a slice for the final tomorrow?
