The devs could tweak a game and fix 20 exploits the community abuses and they will just pop up next month with a new one blaming the “game” and “devs” with a “I can’t believe this” tone

Breaking news, it’s not the devs. It’s the players. It’s the community. Yall will spend hours on a game looking for a cheese exploit as opposed to hours just playing the game and learning it. The players are a BIG reason why competitive gaming has devolved into a copycat simulation. Think about how many PS3/PS4 games had exploits, the worse we used to do was the highrise glitch spot on MW2. Anytime there was a hack/exploit we collectively used to shun it. We didn’t need anti cheat because the community had honor and WAS the anti cheat. Nowadays it’s one big “why don’t the devs stop me from being a fucking virgin it’s their fault not mine!!” Contest

It’s the people. Gaming will never heal until people stop caring this much about winning to the point where they shed all dignity. Fucking losers.
