Penta can’t really drive viewers to AAA when fans can already see him every Monday night on Raw. But El Grande Americano? That’s different. If fans want more of him, they actually have to tune into AAA.
@WrestlePurists Penta makes more sense. El Grande will have beat Dom the night before so can’t lose the next night. If Roman faces Penta they can use The Bloodline to help him win. The crowd won’t like it but it saves face for Penta at least.
#WWENXT saw major increases in viewership and the P18-49 demo from last week's episode, which was head-to-head with the MLB All-Star game.
NXT averaged 690K viewers (⬆️30% from last week) with a 0.09 P18-49 rating (⬆️80%), per Programming Insider.
Year-over-year, NXT was down 8% in total viewers, while the P18-49 rating was down 44%. Last year's numbers were ranked using the old Nielsen "panel-only" system, which was more favorable for wrestling shows.

I’m thinking… if #WWE hasn’t stepped it up creatively by Monday after Mania, I’ve heard enough good things that #AEW might be getting another chance from me. 👀

@TheRajGiri Sports legitimately don’t hurt them that often. And when it does, the numbers don’t be drastically different. I feel like we have years of evidence at this point
The guy who retired Goldberg, retired AJ Styles, and retired John Cena by making him tap out for the first time in 20 years just lost to Cody Rhodes.
One of the worst booking decisions of the year.
