PERSONAL UPDATE: When I blew my knee out in 2023 (google “meniscus root tear”) my ortho surgeon said he would try to fix it but I would be looking at a knee replacement if I didn’t get some weight off. Since then I’ve lost 141 lbs, about a pound per week for 3 years. Along the way I lost 2 inches from my wrists, 4 inches from my neck, 8 inches from each thigh & a whopping 16 inches from my waist. Best of all, I have no pain in my knee & will not need a knee replacement any time soon.
