stories from the broadcast that deserve to be shared again and again:
Nick Perbix is from Elk River, Minnesota, which about one hour from the home of the Minnesota Wild. He would go to games with his family here and there but he would also — in an emergency situation — be called on to be the “Super Cuts Super Kid.” During the television breaks, he would skate onto the ice with a bucket and a shovel to clear the snow. Perbix, who was only about 7 years old at that time, says he vividly remembers one of the players tapping him on the helmet and complementing him on his shoveling skills.
He has the video to prove it:
This past week, John Mayasich celebrated his 90th birthday. Many dignitaries & team-mates were present to celebrate. These 3 are BEST line in @MSHSL history in - Voce, Mayasich, Castellano (with old pic behind of all 3 in same order):
Brothers off the ice, competitors on the ice...
We go #InsideTheNCHC with Jack Perbix (@Perbixx12) to learn about his decision to transfer to @WMUHockey for his senior season, and his relationship with his brother, former @SCSUHuskies_MH standout defenseman, Nick.
“We really need a bounce back game.”
Nick Perbix will return to game action tonight against the #MNWild after missing the past four games with an injury. While the #Bolts have lost their last two games, they are riding a nine game winning streak at home.

“He'll just continue to work and not rest on this saying he's made it or anything. That's what we like about him.”
Poised and consistent, Nick Perbix has met and exceeded expectations throughout his rookie season to earn his recent two-year extension.
