I spent the last several days creating a directory of all the people from the January cohort of the cruise in which I was slated to be on. I then used that directory to call 100% of the people that were going on that specific cruise. Some people didn't pick up, or it went straight to VM, so I'll take another pass in the coming week. 

My process and organizational CRM was then shared with the Cook County Sheriff's office this morning. I can assure you, they are absolutely taking this matter seriously. I would also like to pass along the message that it sounds like there is an almost full-time investigative team on this. 

The other Challenger's from my cohort are also making calls through our directory, to again extend our heartfelt appreciation for them and their support. So if you see a random number calling - pickup - it could be me (or Nehemiah, Brad, Devin, Michele, Mark, Tina, Rachel, Jordan, or Kyle). To the people we talked to, we have expressed our plans for providing alternative & subsidized options for meeting us in 2026.

I just spent two straight days listening to people showcase what it means to be a real challenger. They might have gotten punched in the face, but every single one of them got right back up swinging. Not a single person on the phone in the last 48 hours ushered a single complaint. Everyones' frustrations went unspoken, and it was all about focusing on what we can control. I can say I'm honestly very proud of each person I spoke to.

There were even several people that I talked to that were scheduled to be on both cruises. Meaning when I called them, they were on the physical boat happening right now. Each of them were sufficiently inebriated. They sounded like they're in good hands, and good spirits. I'm thankful for the November Challengers who in their own ways organized, sounded alarms, communicated, and are doing everything they can to do right by any and all Challenge fans.
