@yueyawans ok good to know like i need a point to look forward to where things start to pick up bc i’m on ep 7 right now and contemplating if i should continue. it was really easy to watch 1-6 but ep7 has been a struggle
i can’t tell if i like born with luck yet like it so seamless and yet confuses the heck out of me like idk why i’m watching this?? not my usual cup of tea but somehow it really works?? and that’s the part that confuses me…it’s just leading me somewhere but idk where
why has criticism become such a taboo? even in school, we're taught how to give constructive criticism properly. criticism of art shouldn't be something that's automatically hated, as long as it doesn't turn into a personal attack.
a singer will naturally be judged by their voice. an actor by their acting. a director by their ability to bring a story to life. there’s no absolute standard when it comes to art because everyone's preferences are subjective.
if you truly support someone, you should allow them room to grow, not force them to grow only in ways that fit your expectations. let people express their opinions, as long as they're criticizing the work, not the person behind it. if you don't agree with their opinion, just leave them be. you do you. It's really that simple. 🍀
@oraeore i see melons floating around, i don’t trust any of them. we’ll get them when we get them but somehow cdrama platforms love pitting actors and actresses against themselves. it’s been such a thing for a while. i’ll never understand why
i have hardly seen any reviews that aren't just 100% praise since past few years because now mostly if you critique something 1) you are a hater if it's a drama of an actor you don't stan or 2) a fake fan if it has an actor you like 😭
one thing i still have a question about is if he lost his drive to be a police officer after the suicide case or if he was always a terrible police officer? i feel like i’m not sure about this but idk if i missed it or if it gets addressed later
