Inosuke stared down at his handiwork, rather amazed by the amount of dust and glass shards he had managed to move in a single strike of the broom. This weird weapon was more potent that he'd first imagined.
"I know, right? I'm really good at this!" ~
He let out a little yelp as she ripped the broom from his hands, a disappointed from tugging at his features. This was just getting fun!
He did not sit, rather choosing to crouch down so he could observe the way she used that odd little weapon. ~
A vigorous nod accompanied the wild child's reply.
"YEAH! It's REAL good! The blue nurse made it, right? I can tell! It tastes better than any other human food!"
He didn't quite realize why his actions might be reproachable. His find, his food.
~ and gave a large swipe, what little force he used enough to send a wave of shards washing across the room, all the way to her feet. (Gentle) wasn't exactly one of Inosuke's traits.
That odd noise she made earned her a baffled stare from the boar, who had forgotten that his hide no longer concealed his features.
"Hah? Those little things? They don't look sharper than my blades!" He claimed, crouching down to pick up a small fragment. ~
~ He gave it a squeeze, and as predicted, he felt the shard prickle into his skin.
"Huh. Maybe we should make blades with those things."
He tossed the piece aside and grabbed the item she'd pointed at, a little unsure how to wield it. He set it down ~
~ calloused hands reaching to remove the glass-covered fur. Dark locks of hair came dancing down his shoulders, an oddly elegant sight, considering how little that hair had met a bar of soap.
"What now? How do I fix the window? You have more of that see-through thing?"
"... I'm not human." Inosuke grumbled, in an outburst of his usual bravado.
Truth be told, nothing terrified him more than Shinobu's quiet, pent-up anger. She could hide it under a smile all she wanted, but Inosuke read it in her eyes.
And so he obeyed her command, ~
...
The boar observed an oddly sheepish silence. Were his shoulders actually trembling a little...?
"FINE! I'll sweep every last piece of glass! You won't even know I broke the window in the first place!"
He was yet to notice the shards covering his boar hide.
"STRONGER!!!! STRONGER!!!! I MUST BECOME STRONGER!!!"
"I'LL LIFT EVERY LAST BED IN THIS MANSION!! THEN I'LL PUNCH A TREE DOWN! AND LIFT THE HEAVIEST BOULDER IN THE MOUNTAIN!!"
"There's no way I'd ever choke! It's just a bunch of small sticks. I'll chew my way through!"
Here he goes, placing stick after stick by his lips. He's not going to stop anytime soon.
