@LeadingReport As a disabled American Citizen, I am very grateful for the small $90 assistance I receive. I would never use it on Fast Food even if I could. I much rather be able to buy fresh fruit & vegetables and other healthy choices. My health matters too much to me. 8 surgeries in 2 to go.

@NewYorkStateAG Some stores don’t know how to run partial payments if your EBT doesn’t cover the whole balance. Make it easier, know your balance before you go to the store. Ask to run just that amount in one payment and tell them you will pay the rest in a different form. This worked for me.

@NewYorkStateAG It’s still not that simple. It goes by state & counties to load people’s cards. All while those employees are affected by the shutdown & working with limited staff. I’ll believe it when my account sees it.

@GovKathyHochul As a disabled born & raised American all of our government has me livid. My health insurance is going up 115% & I’m still losing some coverage. Inflation costs, car insurance premiums, rent increases, the cost of food. No SNAP. Priorities aren’t order. Yet they are getting paid!

@ABC I’m a disabled born and raised American citizen. I have to submit massive amounts of paperwork in order to get my SNAP. This shouldn’t be a political war to get the government to reopen. Right now both sides suck. I can’t always drive due to my legs. Guess I’m going to starve!

Military, government employees, disabled people, elderly. It’s causing more of a divide in our country. I worked hard & paid my taxes my whole life! Americans 1st!

@Artgirlvintage @ABC 100% agree!!! Unless you’re a 2 income household and both make well above the median. Rents are out of control, then you still have to pay utilities, gas to drive and food to eat, health insurance. It’s not just one parties doing. It’s the doing of greed from corporate America.
