There’s a new version of you emerging. And it may not make sense to everyone. People may even try to keep you as you’ve been.
Make peace with that.
Emerge anyway.
About 4 years ago I started using @Google voice as a way for my students to text me with questions they had about admissions/scholarships. Entire college caught wind since we’re wfh and now I’m the resident Google Voice helpdesk. 😩Google needs to pay me for this. Lol
This kindergarten teacher is stopping by the homes of her kindergarten class during the coronavirus shutdown to drop off supplies. https://t.co/WlTSJW2Nc4
This! I had to tell my friends to stop hounding me. I’m trying to manage my anxiety and wfh. That’s enough. My creative time is purely for my enjoyment right now.
I'm starting to resent everyone saying it's a great time to be a creative; or why don't you write a book during social distancing. A lot of creatives are empaths and anxiety and confusion isn't the best recipe for quality output.
I work at a college that’s moving classes online but all staff are still to report to work tomorrow. Pray for people who haven’t been given the option to work from home yet.
To clarify:
Isolation = you have tested positive for the virus
Quarantine = you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus & are waiting to see if you develop symptoms
Social distancing = something everyone can do to reduce the risk of transmission
