After sifting through thousands of booking records, it's clear: Florida has some of the most egregious examples of racial classification fraud.

Hopefully, Florida’s leadership cares enough to do something about it.

Inmer Misael Barrios Osorio was arrested for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 12, as well as for child obscenity and indecent exposure.

His victim, an American girl, sustained injuries from his attack and will probably suffer lifelong trauma.

Inmer is a Guatemalan national who fled to Guatemala after his assault, was then extradited back to the United States, and is now being listed as White in police booking records.

Inmer isn’t White. He isn’t even American.

@ziplinegma Here is one of many examples where Police marked a criminal with an H for Hispanic. Police can also mark criminals with U for Unknown or N/A. They choose to put White.

This is Zubaer Salman Ashar.

He was arrested for unthinkable crimes involving sexual exploitation and human trafficking of an underage American girl.

The Broward County Police Department documented Zubaer as White.

According to the Police, Alexander is White.
