@Anna_Hinden I think that this will be one of the most challenging tasks for EFA. There are many children beyond the reach of modern technology that it almost seems insurmountable. There are many children that need food, water, vaccines, etc. I like UNICEF is adding in education too.

@ali_katxo I find it interesting that they are comparing book reading to electronic reading. There is certainly a differnce. I just read a study the other day that said students reading from traditional text books retain more of the content compared to reading an electronic version.

@kyliestoker I find it interesting that countries are teaching to the test, to to speak, the same way that teachers do. The whole system from the ground up is based on a students performing well on a test. This leaves little room for individuality throughout.

By '15, NC schools will have language programs in place so that 10% of the students entering school that year will demonstrate proficiency in a language apart from English. I feel safe to say that this isn't happening in my area. This is doable! Why aren't we doing this? #AGD583

@KevWatchedAFilm A local private school in my area uses skype to communicate with other students of the same grade level in India. At the end of the school year the students fundraise for that class and use those fund to help the school in India.

@PCSpi I think that it's a great idea to make it part of the CEU's for license renewal. I wonder if the deficit lies in not having enough implementers trained in teaching diversity and cultural awareness to other teachers.
