From April, pubs with £100,000 rateable value will see Business Rates jump by £19,000 per year.

They'll need to sell an additional:

60,000 pints a year.
Thats 1200 pints a week.
Thats 170 extra pints every single day.

Thats before rising energy bills, rising wages and other costs.

Survival won't be an option for many.

🇬🇧Remembrance Sunday🇬🇧

Quorn Village’s Remembrance Service will be held at Quorn Memorial from 10.45am on Sunday 10th November, in the centre of the village.

As usual The White Horse will open from 10am with complimentary tea & coffee in The 505 Room for veterans and all those attending before & after the service.

Road restrictions will be in place for most of the morning, so please bear this in mind to arrive on time.

🎃💀The Scare Room Returns 💀🎃

Thursday 31st October, ‘The Scare Room’ is back!!! Can you handle it?👻

For one night only, we are transforming The 505 Room into the spookiest room in Quorn again. If you’re out trick or treating in the village, pop along and meet Alfred (the old landlord) and his friends and see if you are brave enough to walk through The Scare Room.

Bring your trick or treat buckets and earn some sweets if you can complete it.🎃

Doors open at 5pm and It’s free entry all night, so there’s no need to book. (It might not be for the really little ones though!)

Just to let everyone know, we will be closed tonight from 5pm for a private wedding reception.

The pub will reopen from tomorrow at 12pm and back to our usual service.

Tonight from 8.30pm we have live music from Amber & Ethan in the main bar. The main road in Quorn is closed to roadworks, but we are still open.

Access to the village is better from Woodhouse Rd or via the Leicester Rd in Quorn.
