ROVERS RETURN! 💙

This weekend's fixture against Widnes has taken the place of the our eagerly anticipated local derby versus our friends from Featherstone Rovers.

The relationship dates back to 1898, when both clubs helped form the Yorkshire Second Division, alongside the likes of Hull KR & York!

Sadly, the club fell on hard times at the beginning of the year but their loyal fan base is still going strong - and have regularly visited the VPG this season!

So to mark the occasion , anyone who attends Saturday's Clash of the Vikings match in a Featherstone Rovers shirt or merchandise will get to enjoy the game for FREE on us!

Fan loyalty works both ways!

KICK OFF DELAYED

The club would like to inform supporters that the kick off for today’s Betfred Championship fixture against Whitehaven has been delayed.

This is due to an incident at the Victoria Pleasure Ground that is currently being handled by the relevant authorities.

The intention is for the match to be delayed rather than postponed and the match will kick off later this afternoon.

The club are advising supporters not to arrive at the Victoria Pleasure Ground until 4:00pm when it is hoped the match will be able to take place later this afternoon.

The club will continue to keep supporters updated throughout the afternoon.

We apologise for any inconvenience this delay has caused and would like to thank the players, coaches, staff and supporters of both clubs for their patience and understanding.
